Chula Vista FC has been accepted into the Development Player League (DPL)

Chula Vista FC’s acceptance into the Development Player League (DPL) is a transformative moment for our Girls’ program. We’ve established ourselves as a leading force in the South Bay, and now, we’re taking the next step by joining a prestigious club-vs-club platform specifically designed to elevate girls’ soccer. This is about more than just games; it’s about solidifying our Girls’ program’s identity, fostering a strong culture within our female athletes, and driving up the standards for all involved. Playing against the elite clubs of Southern California, who are among the nation’s best, will provide invaluable experience for our girls. The DPL is a crucial addition, and we’re excited to offer the girls of the South Bay another pathway to high-level competition and exposure tailored for their development.

The DPL focuses on both athletic and personal growth, aiming to develop players and empower them in a meaningful environment. Its mission extends beyond soccer skills, emphasizing life lessons, community, and collegiate opportunities. The league prioritizes high-quality experiences, ensuring well-organized events, competitive play, and exposure to college scouts. As a standards-driven national league, the DPL offers a structured and reputable environment that fosters player development and long-term success. Chula Vista FC will now be able to offer these benefits to players and parents seeking a supportive and competitive pathway to collegiate soccer.
