Ricardo Villalva
in 2018, I started as an assistant coach in High school for two years. After that, I had an opportunity to go to Mexico City with the third division of Alebrijes de Oaxaca. Came back to San Diego after six months and started working with Chula Vista FC as Goalkeeper coach for the MLS Next’s teams.
Carlos Arce
I was born in Chula Vista, CA but I was raised in Tijuana, Mexico. I played goalkeeper for Xolos U15 and in Mexico’s Third Division. After that, I played for Nomads U18 and made it to the DA (US Development Academy) semifinals. I received a full scholarship to play for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, which was coached by US National Team’s former Head Coach, Steve Sampson. I finished second in all-time goals against average and fourth in clean sheets in school history.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in December of 2022.
I started goalkeeping training right after I graduated and I love working with the little kids.
