Born and raised in Chula Vista, I’ve been lucky to enjoy all it has to offer — including being part of the CVFC family. I had the opportunity to play for the club for many years and now have the privilege of sharing that knowledge and experience as a coach. I competed at the collegiate level but unfortunately experienced a career-ending injury.
Shortly after, I developed an interest in psychology and the mental aspect of being an athlete. I’m now pursuing a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology and working toward becoming a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC).
With a combination of lived experience and psychoeducation, I view athletes in two parts: mind and body. By developing the necessary mental skills, I believe athletes can build the confidence to identify and achieve their peak performance.
