He has also been honored with the CalSouth Player of the Year award both as a youth and an adult. His exceptional recognition extends from his playing days to his coaching career. As a coach, he has excelled, particularly with his 2008 group, which has propelled players to MLS Youth Academies. His top 2011 team achieved national acclaim, notably defeating teams like LA Galaxy and LAFC. I have been coaching since 2017, and DV7 gave me the first opportunity to start my career as a soccer coach. I moved to the USA in 2017 and hold U.S. soccer licenses for 4v4, 9v9, and 11v11. I am currently enrolled in the D license course.

Position: G2009 Villa Born : Joined Club:Since 2011, I have coached both boys and girls with a goal to positively develop players emotionally, psychologically, and physically through the game of soccer. I started coaching my son when he was 5 years old and playing in a recreational league. I continued to coach him into his 18th birthday at a very high competitive level. I now coach my daughter’s team. I am fortunate to spend this time with my children and also serve as a positive role model for my community. I hold a US Soccer D License and Doctorate of Educational Leadership from SDSU.

His coaching emphasizes not only competitiveness but also instills sportsmanship and collaboration skills, aspiring to extend them beyond the soccer field. Rooted in South American football culture, Alejandro, with a bachelor’s in computer engineering and a US National D license, takes immense pride in witnessing the transformative journey of our club over the years. After graduating from college, I returned to the sport I love: Soccer. I am passionate about developing talented, technical, gifted players and taking them to the next level. In my 15+ years coaching career, I have played a role in developing and creating highly competitive teams that have competed at the highest level, not only in the US, but also in Mexico and in Spain. After taking a 5 year break from coaching to support my two competitive athletic kids with their athletic journeys, I have returned to CVFC to continue working and developing talented players once again.

I am the head Coach for both Boys and Girls Varsity programs at Hoover High school. I currently have a USSF D coaches license and I am attending school to receive my degree in Sports Management. I became a coach to give back to the community that watched me grow and to help my players develop as student athletes so that they can grow to become model citizens for their communities. There’s no better feeling then the look on my kids face when they are walking across the podium on Graduation Day when you realize all that hard work has finally paid off.
