Welcome to the Winter Cup
The Chula Vista Winter Cup 2026 is a youth soccer tournament hosted by Chula Vista FC on fields across South Bay San Diego County. Boys and girls teams born between 2011 and 2020 compete in a well organized event that focuses on quality games, sportsmanship, and a positive experience for families.
Games are scheduled to reduce coaching conflicts whenever possible, and brackets are built to match teams with comparable levels of play. The goal is simple: competitive games, smooth logistics, and a memorable soccer weekend.
Team Fees
Each team pays one registration fee, plus a separate referee fee per game format as listed below. Final payment instructions will be sent with acceptance details.

Teams are encouraged to register early to secure their spot. Brackets are limited by field space and demand in each age group.

Tournament Rules Overview
The Chula Vista Winter Cup follows FIFA Laws of the Game with local modifications for youth play. A full rules document will be posted here and emailed to accepted teams.
- Matches use standard youth soccer rules for each format and age group.
- Official rosters and player cards are required for all teams.
- Players may appear on only one roster in the same age group and division.
- Game length, ball size, and substitution rules vary by age and will be listed in the final rules.
- Build out lines and modified offside rules apply for younger 7v7 and 9v9 divisions where appropriate.
- Yellow and red card policies, coach behavior, and sideline conduct will be enforced.
- Tie breakers, weather plans, and protest procedures are included in the full rules sheet.
