Chula Vista FC’s First Team comes from behind to beat Soccer Academy Nevada, 3-2, and win the Southwest Premier League Championship!
Things did not start very well for our team as they fell behind 0-2 early in the first half. However, Chula Vista FC did not panic and systematically started their comeback (as they always do) by scoring a first half goal by Francisco ‘Cisco’ Ramirez. In the second half, Jorge Navarro evened up the score, 2-2, with the comeback being capped by an amazing olympic goal by Alberto ‘Beto’ Diaz.
Chula Vista had also comeback from a 1-2 deficit in the semifinal game the day before against Worldwide Problems FC.
Chula Vista FC had earned his ticket to the semifinals by winning the San Diego Premier League.
Chula Vista will now wait until December for the NISA Nation National Championship playoffs. They will play either a NISA Nation Southwest or Pacific Region champion for a spot in the NISA Nation Finals.
