Mini Maestros second season will start January 8th.

Mini Maestros second season will start January 8th. Mini Maestros League lead coach, Isaac Valencia, is sure ready for the new season “We are excited for the second season to keep working with the players and meet new ones. It has been a great experience for all the coaches to work with these age groups. I’m supporting their enjoyment of the game and development in the foundations.” Valencia continued: “Last season’s matches were fun and competitive.  It was amazing to see the players’ progression from the beginning of the season. You can see them coming out of the shell and being more confident with the ball & enjoying being involved with the team.”

Chula Vista FC’s Academy Director, Jose Hector Diaz, is also very excited about the Mini Maestros League’s second season “I am thrilled with the ‘Mini Maestros’ league, a name creatively coined by our former player and coach, Jaime Verdin. Our coaching staff, led by Isaac Valencia, has done an exceptional job crafting a unique experience, complete with standings. They embody the Chula Vista Way by offering this program at an incredibly affordable cost. As a club, we are proud to support this initiative and make it accessible to everyone.”

Mini Maestros is a 6-week session in which players born from 2014 through 2019 learn and or improve their soccer skills. Divided into 4 teams in each category (U6, U8, U10), players then play a round robin, semifinals, and a championship game.  Champions and runners-up received medals. The second season will run from January 8th through February 17th. All trainings and games are held at our Futbol Training Center.
