CVFC Youth Information:

WHAT IS CVFC YOUTH?
Chula Vista Futbol Club Youth is an elite youth program that feeds players into our First Team and America’s Colleges/Universities. The league structure will provide competitive games without travel and major cost. The focus is on the overall development of the player.

IN COMPARISONS TO OTHER SOCCER CLUBS SOUTH OF I-8, DOES CVFC COMPETE IN LOWER OR HIGHER COMPETITIVE LEAGUES?
Chula Vista Futbol Club Youth competes in the most competitive leagues in Southern California in comparison to any club south of I-8. We have had teams compete in the following fall leagues: Presidio Soccer League, the San Diego Developmental Academy League, and Coast Soccer League.

DOES CVFC YOUTH CHARGE COACHING FEES?
YES. Our coaches at all levels work together with our DOC to setup a program that follows our coaching curriculum.  The amount a coach can charge is directly related to the license level & experience they hold.  Coaching fee ranges from $35 - $45 a month.

HOW EXPENSIVE IS CVFC YOUTH and WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Our registration fee is only $500 (earn up to $100 by selling your raffle tickets).

What's included:

- Cal-South Registration
- Presidio Registration
- Presidio Referee Fees
- Practice Fields & Facility Lights

We do have a scholarship program in place for players who need it, these are approved on a case by case basis by our Director of Coaching.

THE MORE EXPENSIVE THE YOUTH CLUB, THE BETTER RIGHT?
No! The concept of “You Pay for What You Get” does not apply in competitive youth soccer. Among the strongest youth clubs in the US are currently the MLS Youth Academies. All of the MLS Youth Academies are fully funded programs. The fewer the fees, the more people can afford it and the bigger the player pool for our coaches to choose from.

CVFC U23 Team Information:

WHAT IS CVFC's FIRST TEAM?
Chula Vista Futbol Club's First Team is our team that bridges the gap between U18 and professional soccer.  The majority of our current MLS players develop in our universities, but what about the players that do not have the grades or money to attend?  School is a great option for the majority, but not for everyone.  At Chula Vista Futbol Club we believe in increasing the player pool, not decreasing it.  CVFC will not judge based on anything other than being a great soccer player.

HOW LONG HAS CVFC'S FIRST TEAM EXISTED?
We are the oldest continuous First Team in San Diego County. We started in the summer of 2010. We are often replicated, but never duplicated.

WHEN CAN I WATCH CVFC'S FIRST TEAM PLAY SOCCER MATCHES?
In 2013 we played the SoCal Premier League, which included Chivas USA.  We also hosted Tijuana Xolos Sub-20 in front of over 1,000 people and a representative from US Soccer.  Several of our professional competitions (U.S. Open Cup 2015) were streamed live on our opponents respective YouTube channel (FC Tucson & Sacromento Republic FC).  In the summer of 2015 we hosted Club America Sub-20 from Mexico City, prior to thier departure to play the MLS Homegrown Team.  In the future, the schedule is going to be even BETTER! Join our mailing list to stay up-to-date on CVFC First Team news and we’ll notify you as soon as we know more about dates and times for matches as well as how to buy tickets.  You can also keep up with the First Team by frequenting our website
